Tatiana Struchkova

Having trained at the Surikov Institute of Art, an institution known for its extensive teaching of life drawing, Tatiana's painting skills are of a very high standard. Able to portray her images with confidence and ability, she produces figure studies which are strikingly contemporary yet reflect a timeless quality and atmosphere. This more contemporary style she describes as 'Romantic Symbolism'. Her work is often set against dark backgrounds or is charged with symbolic meaning reminiscent of the work of Holbein, which has had a great influence on her. Medici Gallery has shown Tatiana's paintings since 2001 and she is internationally collected.
